Sorry, one last thought from 2011:

What can I say about Adrian? He was an exemplary worker, a professional with presence, voice and comportment worthy of his pursuits. I am honored to have had the opportunity to have worked with him. We were able to bond in a way that we could not have
otherwise. We shared a workspace and a sense of humor. He appreciated words, and good speech and told me so. He spoke well and carried himself professionally. I will fondly remember the laughs and moments of absurdity, which only people with a bent sense of humor appreciate. He would ask permission to speak frankly and I would say, "Spit it out." With a grin
and he would relax and cut loose. He offered and gave me rides in his pickup to the busstop and this is where he would relax. He revealed a personality that was not shared with the others in the office. He was very perceptive and knew he had to hold some things back. We discussed work issues in salty language and laughed heartily about the sheer lunacy of our shared work experience. I was very privileged to be considered a friend and confidant and I knew he appreciated my advice and input (although I often qualified it by stating that it was probably nonsense anyway). He was very caring and demonstrated his commitment to his friends by denying them none of his time and talents. It made my day to be able to defuse the tension he
sometimes carried into my office with a furroughed brow and hunched shoulders. We would laugh and it would make the day go by. I will miss you, my friend.

Adrian, you are still heavy on my mind and thoughts. You were always such a kind and thoughtful coworker. I pray your wife and family are doing well. Time moves on and so does the memorial of great people like you because there are only a few. May God bless your family and hope time makes it easier to cope with your departure. My mom told me that when you give a person a religious relic you will see them again in heaven. Hope to see you again!

My Dearest Son, it seems like yesterday you were here. You’re not forgotten, I think of you in so many things in so many ways. I want you to know that life here on earth without you is difficult, and yet, knowing you as I know you, I am certain you’d tell me the Spock thing, “live long and prosper.” I used to get a kick out of you telling me that. I love you Adrian. As I said, life with you here is difficult, and I am prospering. I wish you could have met Seth Elijah, my youngest son. As soon as he is understanding of things, I will tell him lots about you. You are very much loved, Adrian. You are very much missed, too my sweet sweet boy. Bless you in your walks and talks with God and His angels.

My sweet sweet Boy. My very sweet sweet Boy. How I miss you. I wish I could still look into your eyes and see the love you shared so freely with all your loved ones. You are always at my bedside, you are always in my heart, my dreams. I find myself always thinking of you. It is said that God culls from us only those He needs immediately to do His work. To this day I remember shaking my fist into the sky and screaming to God almighty that I needed you more here than He does with Him. I am often reminded by God that I should be more like you Sonny Boy. I try. Love ya' Adrian. Miss you more my Poche.

My dearest boy...I wish you were here. I still remember the scent of your smelly little feet as a young child. I remember the scent of you as a grown man. You were a true Patriot of this country and I salute you. I live my life with the wisdom and exuberance of your years. I love you and I miss you terribly.

Fratres! Three weeks from now I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be, and it will be so. Hold the line. Stay with me. If you find yourself alone, riding in green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled; for you are in Elysium. Brothers, what we do in life, echoes in eternity.
Strength and Honor Son! Strength and Honor!

Omg... I am so sad to see that this guy has passed away. I wasn't aware of it. And I don't know what happened. In will Rogers high school in 1996 or 1997, I attended high school with Adrian and Gabriel bernal. We were only associates, knowing each other by passing by in school. I kept to myself a lot. I am a gay person. One time kids were picking on me, and Adrian made them stop. Although he did not agree with my lifestyle, he was kind and wanted everyone to be treated kindly. He told me after the incident, never let anyone put you down or say mean things to you. Always stand for who you are, and nobody should be mean to you because your gay. I have always remembered this over the years. I could tell that Adrian was the best type of person that this world needs. I hate to see that he is passed and I will say a prayer for his family and siblings. I want people to know, that I was a nobody to this guy, just a gay kid in school, but he didn't want anyone treated poorly. He was truly an amazing person who blessed my life just by telling me to be proud and not take crap from other people. I will never never forget his cool personality and the world lost him way too soon. RIP Adrian, you will not be forgotten.
Respectfully submitted.
