I first met Carol at the University of North Texas. She was my roommate and close friend. We experienced the colloge dorm life together. After college we remained as friends and corresponded by mail to this day. I will miss her deeply. My thoughts are with her two children. I hope they will grow up to appreciate life as much as their Mother did.

Carol was a joy to know. We went to many conferences and vacation trips after college and her humor and perceptive wisdom always made for hilarious times. Although I have not been able to see her much since moving away, she was truly one of my best friends. I will miss her sweet spirit and generous nature. I am comforted by the knowledge that she is in heaven now with our Lord Jesus Christ whom she loved and so faithfully believed in and served all her days.

Carol was my sister-in-law, and though we only saw her when she travelled to Maine, we have many great memories of times spent with her, Steve, Sarah and Aaron....from building snow forts, to going snow tubing, to taking boat rides on Casco Bay (which I think she enjoyed most). She was truly an amazing woman who never complained even though she had been dealt a difficult hand in life. We love and miss you Carol! Our sympathies to Carol's family and may you rest easy knowing that she is free from suffering and lives with God. Steve, Sarah and Aaron, you know you can always count on us for anything you need.

We've known Carol and her family for years, since their daughter Sara joined King' Kids. Sara traveled with us on missionary trips to several countries including Ethiopia and India, and I'll always remember her love and compassion for the people she met. Sara's caring heart is a continuing tribute to Carol. Our family sends their love and condolences to Sara, her brother, dad and grandparents for their loss.

I went to see Carol in New Mexico. She had just started dating Steve and was deeply in love. One night we had gotten dressed to go to a fancy restaurant and all she could talk about is the guy Steve. As we were walking to the car she said, "I can't find my purse- where is it". A neighbor and I looked in her apartment and in her car and then I looked at her and said, "Carol, it is on your shoulder". Another sign that she was on cloud nine was when we went to the restaurant. She tried to open the door but, could not open it. Then we went to a window trying to get someone to see us so they could go to the door and open the door for us. We went back to the door to try again but no luck. Then 2 seconds later, a couple went to that same door and opened it up immediately, The third sign was when we were leaving the parking lot. She was talking about Steve. Instead of pulling out behind her she put the mustang in drive and drove right over a curb and needed repair on her car. It was the most enjoyable time I had with her because she was so happy and so funny to be around. It was indeed a memory I will keep forever.
