Dora Le Blanc Obituary

Dora Le Blanc, 88, fell asleep in death on January 13, 2010, in El Paso, Texas. She was surrounded by her family and many dear friends. She had been cared for primarily and inseparably by her daughter affectionately referred to as "My Beverley". She taught in the Tornillo and Ysleta Independent School Districts for many years. Through the years, generations of students always remembered the teacher who cared for them. After her retirement she continued to serve as a substitute teacher. She was known for her generosity, kindness to strangers and her great love for Jehovah's creations and handiwork. Prominently displayed in her home are her many paintings of wildlife that she so appreciated. She maintained her sense of humor and quick wit, to the last. Outstandingly will she be remembered as a spiritual woman, one who from her youth on sought to learn about her Grand Creator, Jehovah. She never abandoned her righteous principals and instilled these values in her three daughters. She had a great love for her Creator's word the Bible, which she was known to read regularly. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who are confident that as loyal as she was to her Grand Creator, he too will be loyal and remember her. - 2Samuel 22:26. She is survived by her daughters Donnavee Thomas and husband Vince; Beverley Le Blanc, Jorjean Moreno and husband Mario; grandson Jonathan Thomas and wife Jolleen; sister Millie Kramer and husband John; niece Louann Feuerstein Burrows and husband Chip; nephews; Leo Feuerstein and Danny Tovar and David Feuerstein and wife Veronica. Memorial services will be on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 526 Holmsley Trail Dr., El Paso, Texas.

I was saddened to hear of your Mom's passing; she was a very special lady and was always nice to my Mom and me!

I have also thought of you and Beverly a lot and have actually tried to get in touch with you but, to no avail. I am in Spring, TX and my phone numbers are 281-252-8013 x 14 (ofc) and 281-300-2898 (cell).

Hope all is well with you and your family. Are you still in the El Paso area? I knew that your aunt Millie lived next to Dimas and had asked him to get your number but he was not able to be fore he passed away.

I remember the toothbrushes (had to keep those purlies white hahaha).

What a pleasant surprise!!! So very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing but I know that she is definitely in a better place.

Carlitos is doing well. He retired from the Sheriff's dept in ElP and actually worked for us for a while but the economy has casused havoc with our business and we had to let a whole bunch of people go, including Carlos. I hope we may be able to get him back soon but time will tell.

Sorry for your loss! Your Mom was a most gracious lady and was always nice to my mother and me when she came by your grandmother's store.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. LeBlanc's family. I will always remember that classy look--her pearls and stiletto heels. She always looked beautiful!!! Surprisingly enough, later in the future I was a colleague of Lou Ann Feurstein and Chip Burrows at Hanks High School. You all are in my prayers.
