Francisco Ortiz Obituary

Francisco Javier Ortiz

Francisco Javier Ortiz was born on December 3rd, 1945 and departed from us to be with God on December 3rd, 2020. He lived 75 wonderful years.

He is survived by his 5 children, Lucy, Vero, Frank, Jerry, and Albert, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and friends.

Our father will always be remembered for taking care of his family. As a young man he worked hard and gave his earnings to his mother to help provide for their large family. As an adult, he married, raised his family, and still provided so his younger siblings could attend school. Throughout his entire life, he helped family and friends through many difficult times without asking anything in return. He taught us all good values, to help and respect each other, and how to forgive. He always stood beside those that needed it the most. Best of all, he taught us all how to love. Our father talked about his family all the time and all the adventures and struggles they went through. It was fascinating to hear him talk, as he knew every name, of every member, of every family. His favorite pastime was spending time with his great grandchildren. He loved his family dearly.

His passion was his work. Our father was the proud owner of a commercial and residential flooring business. He worked hard and took great pleasure in being a perfectionist. If things were not done right, he would take it all apart and start over again. This earned him the respect of his peers and many businessmen in the El Paso community. He employed and mentored most of his brothers, friends, and other family members. This gave him great satisfaction as he saw them become independent and successful in their lives.

Thank you dad for all the wonderful and special memories, for teaching us the important things in life, and for loving us unconditionally. Thank you for always being there for us when we needed you. We will miss your smile, your laugh and the wisdom you lovingly shared. You will always be remembered and missed dearly. May you rest in peace in God's kingdom.

Our family appreciates the thoughtful prayers and gestures in his memory.
