Fabens - Genaro Rodriguez, Sr., 83, passed away October 28, 2020. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Survived by wife, Maria Inez, Sons, Genaro Rodriguez, Jr. (Juana), Israel Rodriguez, Benjamin Rodriguez (Patty), Daughters, Magdalena Spence (Chris), Priscilla Northcutt (Michael), Melissa Rodriguez (Ralph). He was preceded in death by his son, Antonio Rodriguez and grandson, Liam Budill. He had 14 Grandchildren; April (Bert), Jacque (Fredo), Ashley (Johnny), Janika, Krys, Chelcie, Jake, Tyler, Angela (Eric), Amanda (Joe), Olivia, Annie, Danielle and Isaiah. He had 13 GreatGrandchildren. Our Father, Genaro was a great and humble man. He worked hard to provide for his family of 9. He always lent a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Our home was always opened to any family member or friend who needed a place to stay. Above all, he was a devout Catholic and a religious man. He passed this legacy on to all his children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. We will miss him tremendously and await to be reunited with him in the Kingdom of God.

Services: Sunday, November 1, at San Jose Fabens Chapel. Visitation 4 pm - 7 pm with Rosary at 5 pm. Due to funeral restrictions, time is limited at viewing. Burial, Monday, November 2, at Fabens Cemetery (Private).






Genáro Rodríguez, Sr., de 83 años, falleció el 28 de octubre del 2020 y fue un amado esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo. Le sobreviven su esposa, Maria Inez, sus hijos:Genáro Rodríguez, Jr. (Juana), Israel Rodríguez, Benjamín Rodríguez (Patty), sus hijas: Magdalena Spence (Chris), Priscilla Northcutt (Michael) y Melissa Rodríguez (Ralph). Le precedieron en muerte su hijo Antonio Rodríguez y su nieto Liam Budill. Tuvo 14 nietos: April (Bert), Jacque (Fredo), Ashley (Johnny), Janika, Krys, Chelcie, Jake, Tyler, Angela (Eric), Amanda (Joe), Olivia, Annie, Danielle e Isaiah. Tuvo 13 bisnietos. Nuestro padre fue un hombre grande y humilde. Trabajó duro para mantener a su familia de nueve. Siempre echaba una mano a quien la necesitaba. Nuestra casa siempre estuvo abierta a cualquier familiar o amigo que necesitara un lugar donde quedarse. Sobre todo, era un católico devoto y un hombre religioso. Pasó este legado a todos sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Lo echaremos de menos tremendamente y esperaremos reunirnos con él en el Reino de Dios. Los portadores del féretro son: Genáro Rodríguez, Jr., Israel Rodríguez, Benjamín Rodríguez, Chris Spence, Michael Northcutt, Ralph González. Los portadores de féretro honorarios son: Jake Rodríguez e Isaiah González. Los servicios serán el domingo 1 de noviembre en la capilla de San José Fabens. El velorio será de 4:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. con el rosario a las 5:00 p.m. Debido a restricciones fúnebres, el tiempo de velorio es limitado. El entierro será el lunes 2 de noviembre del 2020 en el cementerio de Fabens (en privado).
