Guillermo Simental Obituary

SIMENTAL GUILLERMO "CHITO" SIMENTAL was called up to heaven on September 8, 2010. As a lifelong resident of El Paso, Willie was born on August 10, 1944. He enlisted into the U.S. Navy where he served his country valiantly in the Vietnam War. After 4 years his tour ended and he returned home. There he found the love of his life who would be his wife for 42 years; Maria Isela. Soon after returning from the war he joined the El Paso Water Utilities where he would work for 24 years as a plant operator, supervisor, and plant manager. Together with Maria he had three children; Elizabeth, Willie Jr., and Jessica. Their children blessed him with grandchildren; Marissa, Michael, Destiny, Zahra, and Willie III. His legacy lives on in them. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Michelle, and son-in-law, Noel, whom he claimed as his own. Willie was an amazing person with so much vibrant energy and history that made everyone around him happy. We will truly miss you.
