Hilda Reyes Obituary
Hilda (Solis) Reyes, age 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2021. She was born on October 2, 1958, to the late Francisco "Ari" and Isabel "Chavela" Solis. She was a graduate of San Elizario High School, as well as El Paso Community College. She also enjoyed the time she was employed with the Ysleta Independent School District. She married Rodolfo "Rofy" Reyes on December 21, 1985 and they had their only son Ruben Cosme Reyes on October 14, 1988. Hilda was an extremely devoted wife and a dedicated mother. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; listening to live music, spending time with family and friends, and growing her collection of miniatures. She will be leaving a void in the family where her infectious laugh will be truly missed. Hilda leaves behind her siblings; Ceci Ruiz, Sylvia Arrieta, Rene Solis, Irma Solis, Shirley Solis and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Escobar, Tommy Arrieta-Rios, David Ramirez Jr., Mark Arrieta, Abel Valenzuela and Jonathan Rodarte. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 9am to 12pm with rosary at 11am at San Jose Funeral Home-East at 10950 Pellicano Dr. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Hilda (Solís) Reyes, de 62 años, falleció en paz el domingo 21 de marzo del 2021. Nació el 2 de octubre de 1958, hija de los difuntos Francisco ""Ari"" e Isabel ""Chavela"" Sólis. Se graduó de San Elizario High School, así como de El Paso Community College. También disfrutó del tiempo que estuvo empleada en el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Ysleta. Se casó con Rodolfo ""Rofy"" Reyes el 21 de diciembre de 1985 y tuvieron a su único hijo Rubén Cosme Reyes el 14 de octubre de 1988. Hilda fue una esposa extremadamente devota y una madre dedicada. Vivió la vida al máximo a través de placeres simples; escuchando música en vivo, pasando tiempo con familiares y amigos, y aumentando su colección de miniaturas. Dejará un vacío en la familia donde realmente extrañarán su risa contagiosa. Hilda deja a sus hermanos: Ceci Ruiz, Sylvia Arrieta, Rene Solis, Irma Solis, Shirley Solis y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. Los portadores del féretro serán: Michael Escobar, Tommy Arrieta-Rios, David Ramírez Jr., Mark Arrieta, Abel Valenzuela y Jonathan Rodarte. El velorio se llevará a cabo el lunes 29 de marzo del 2021 de 9:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. con el rosario a las 11:00 a.m. en San Jose Funeral Home-East en el 10950 Pellicano Dr. El entierro proseguirá en el cementerio de Mount Carmel.

Hilda, still can’t believe you are gone. Spoke to you weeks ago to check on you. I will always cherish your friendship and the memories we had together when we worked. I would harass you all the time and you always had a come back. Miss you very much and I know you are with your parents looking down. My condolences to your husband and family.

I am going to miss your laugh and all the great times we had during lunch at Del Valle High School. Also, the times that we spent sharing with each other about our sons. RIP Hilda. You were a wonderful Mother, Wife, Friend and Coworker.

I worked with Hilda at Del Valle HS. We shared many laughs together during our lunchtime and our work day. She will be dearly missed. Sending condolences to her husband and her son.
