Ivan Flores Obituary
Tu fuiste el sol y el amor de nuestras vidas, Our beloved Ivan Miguel Flores entered the Kingdom of God on March 14, 2008. Born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 27, 1977, Ivan will be remembered as one who was full of life, love and compassion for others. He loved the freedom of the outdoors and was an expert with his hands. Welding was his specialty, and being artistically inclined, he created the most fantastic drawings. Larger than life and with the passion to fit he loved to ride his motorcycle across the dessert and shared his enthusiasm for the gym and staying fit with others spending hours of his free time helping people get and stay in shape. We miss you so much Ivan! You will always remain alive in our hearts, and be remembered as a fearless adventurer who gave generously of himself to others and always made us laugh. Ivan is survived by his parents, Daniel and Gloria Flores. His sister, Ana and her husband Carlos. His niece, Celeste and nephew Carlos, Jr. He is survived by his beautiful baby girl, Brianna. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. It was my great privlage to have spent a great deal of time with Ivan and I know I am a better person in many ways for having that opportunity. He was a great friend and I will miss him dearly.
