On June 4th, 2021, the world lost Joe Rivera Jr, a man who can never be replaced. Joe Rivera was born on March 31st, 1965 in El Paso, Texas to Mary Louise Rivera. He attended Bel-Air High School and El Paso Community College. Joe was an outstanding salesman and successful manager. He loved music and was gifted at guitar to the extent that he would captivate the audience. He spent his happiest memories and laughter amongst family, and touched the lives of those around him. Joe could make a room of people roar with laughter and was the king of pranks. He was a great father and husband who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elizabeth Rivera, his 4 children Henry, Nichole, Joe and Steven Rivera. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Rivera, brother Daniel Rivera, and sisters Cynthia and Mary Jo Rivera. Known as Bop to his 7 grandchildren whom he loved and cared for deeply: Ruby, Demitrius, Alex, Yelena, Bran, Adalia, and Joseph.

Joe Rivera's Family and Friends will be celebrating his life Friday June 18th at 11am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church located at 8011 Williamette Ave, El Paso, Texas 79907




El 4 de junio del 2021, el mundo perdió a Joe Rivera Jr, un hombre que nunca podrá ser reemplazado. Joe Rivera nació el 31 de marzo de 1965 en El Paso, Texas siendo hijo de Mary Louise Rivera. Asistió a Bel-Air High School y a El Paso Community College. Joe era un destacado vendedor y exitoso gerente. Amaba la música y tenía el don de la guitarra hasta el punto de cautivar al público. Pasó sus recuerdos y risas más felices entre la familia y tocó las vidas de quienes lo rodeaban. Joe podía hacer que la gente se riera a carcajadas y era el rey de las bromas. Fue un gran padre y esposo que será echado de menos por su familia y amigos. Le sobrevive su esposa durante 36 años, Elizabeth Rivera, sus cuatro hijos: Henry, Nichole, Joe y Steven Rivera. Le sobrevive su madre Mary Lou Rivera, su hermano Daniel Rivera y sus hermanas Cynthia y Mary Jo Rivera. Era conocido como Bop por sus siete nietos a quienes amaba y cuidaba profundamente: Ruby, Demitrius, Alex, Yelena, Bran, Adalia y Joseph. La familia y amigos de Joe Rivera celebrarán su vida el viernes 18 de junio del 2021 a las 11:00 a.m. en la iglesia católica Cristo Rey, ubicada en el 8011 William St., El Paso, Texas 79907.
