Juan Manuel Pizarro

El Paso - Juan Manuel Pizarro, 88 passed away on June 13, 2019. He was born Dec 27, 1930 in the city of Los Herrras, Durango, Mexico. At the age of 17 Juan moved to Chicago, Illinois. There he continued his education and worked in the Hotel Hospitality Industry, then 20 yrs later he returned to El Paso and got a job at Electrolux Corp. as a Branch Manager. There, he received many awards including trips around the U.S. and abroad for his outstanding performance. After 28 years with Electrolux, he went on to work at Primerica Ins. & Financial Services. He was also active in the community. Juan was a very talented musician and played many instruments including the bass guitar, guitar, drums & trumpet. He belonged to El Paso Community College Senior Adult Program where he played with the Rondalla and Mariachi Valle Verde. Preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife Daisy Pizarro of 58 years; daughters, Lisa Pizarro, Rebecca Bannister; sons, Daniel & Adrian Pizarro; seven grandchildren, Brandon & Brittney Bannister, Kelsea & Caidence Pizarro, Bella, Angel & Alexandrea and many nieces and nephews. Juan was truly a wonderful man, hard worker and a great family man (A Good Man) who will be missed! Visitation will be held Thursday June 20th from 5 to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at San Jose Funeral Home 10950 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935. Funeral mass will be Friday, June 21st at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church at 11am. Interment followed at Mt Carmel Cemetery.







Juan Manuel Pizarro, de 88 años, falleció el 13 de junio del 2019. Nació el 27 de diciembre de 1930 en la ciudad de Los Herreras, Durango, México. A los 17 años, Juan se mudó a Chicago, Illinois. Allí continuó su educación y trabajó en la industria de hospitalidad hotelera. Después de 20 años, regresó a El Paso y consiguió un trabajo en Electrolux Corp. como gerente de sucursal. Recibió muchos premios, incluidos viajes alrededor de Estados Unidos y el extranjero por su excelente desempeño. Después de 28 años con Electrolux, trabajó en Primerica Ins. & Financial Services. Fue muy activo en comunidad. Juan fue un músico muy talentoso y tocaba muchos instrumentos, incluyendo el bajo, la guitarra, la batería y la trompeta. Perteneció al Programa de Adultos Mayores de El Paso Community College, donde tocó música con el Rondalla y el Mariachi Valle Verde. Es precedido en muerte por sus padres y sus ocho hermanos. Le sobrevive su amada esposa por 58 años, Daisy Pizarro, sus hijas Lisa Pizarro y Rebecca Bannister; sus hijos Daniel y Adrian Pizarro; sus siete nietos, Brandon y Brittney Bannister, Kelsea y Caidence Pizarro, Bella, Angel y Alexandrea al igual que muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. ¡Juan fue verdaderamente un hombre maravilloso, fuerte trabajador y un gran hombre de familia (A Good Man) que será extrañado! El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 20 de junio de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. con el rosario a las 7:00 p.m. en San Jose Funeral Home, en el 10950 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935. La misa fúnebre será el viernes 21 de junio en la iglesia católica de San Antonio De Padua a las 11:00 a.m. Se proseguirá con el entierro en el cementerio de Mount Carmel.

My deepest condolences to you Tia Daisy, Becka, Lisa, Adrian, Daniel. Tio Juan Manuel was a very special man in my life. He will be the uncle I will always cherish and love with all my heart. I'm sorry that I can't make it to the services to be with you. But keep in mind that I'm praying for you, that God will give you peace of mind and heart. You are all very important to my brothers and sisters.. Just in case you don't remember who I am, I am tio Lauro and Tia Maria's Navar youngest daughter Gloria.
