1945 - 2017

Maria Esther Morales, born on August 22, 1945, passed away on November 30, 2017. Maria was preceded in death by parents Cruz and Carmen Marquez, siblings Catalina Marquez, Ruben Marquez, and Martha Dominguez. Maria is survived by son Alfonso Morales Jr., daughters Sylvia Lozoya , and Edna Portillo. She is also survived by sister Carmen Diaz and brother Arturo Marquez. Her grandchildren Ricardo Carrillo Jr, Julie Carrillo, Michael Portillo, Adrian Portillo, Ethne Esparza, and Alexander Lozoya. Great-grandchildren Liah Carrillo, Leo Siranda (dec.), Devon and Courtney Carrillo. Very special thanks to Dr. Dionicio Alvarez MD and staff for many years of care and service during her lifetime. Also Compadres Cesar and Rachel Olivas, The Olmos family and daughter-in-law Becky Morales for their unwavering friendship and love. Also, Joey, Cecilia, Faviola, and Joseph Ponce as well as Cruz Marquez for their love and care throughout her times of comfort. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with rosary at 6:00p.m at Martin Funeral Home Central. Mass will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:00a.m at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Mom, thank you for always being there and for your love and support.
