The Mendoza Family,
Whenever I think of my fondest childhood memories Matt is in almost every single one of them. His smile, his laugh, and his ability to make anyone around him laugh were incredible. He was the first best friend I ever had and I am lucky for that. When someone you love becomes a memory those memories become treasures. Matt will always have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I knew Matthew from Sageland all the way through Hanks High School. He was always able to make others laugh. I am praying for your family as you go through this difficult time. May God grant you the peace and understanding that only He can give.

George, Terry and family...So sorry and saddened to hear about Matthew. Please know that he was a beloved student and I consider it an honor and a privilege to have been his teacher for two years at Sageland. I will never forget his invention of "spicy popcorn" or his constant pursuit of knowledge. Matthew will always be remembered as a young man who always gave his very best. Not a day has gone by where Matthew and his classmates haven't gone with me into the classroom...they are always there...teaching me and encouraging me to be my best, as a teacher and as a human being.
