Matt was one of my first bosses at Westinghouse. Just out of High School in 1966. Matt was a wonderful boss and family man. Gentle spirit but dedicated to Westinghouse. I was blessed to know him and his sister - Sissy and work with Sissy through out her career at Westinghouse. Great times being part of of the Westinghouse family wonderful people. God Bless everyone in the Fennell family at this sad time. Matt was also a good friend of my Uncle Bill Larrabee. I’m sure they are together catching up!

My profound and deep condolences to Ann and family; my short acquaintance with Matt found him to be a staunch and multi talented person. His contribution to our AOH Chapter will forever be remembered.

Though I only met Matt Sr. a handful of times, this man was always a gracious person. At his daughter Sheila's wedding, I fulfilled my duties toasting the bride and groom. Matt Fennell greeted me with a hardy hand shake of appreciation and approval. His heartfelt thanks that day has always been a memorable moment for me. He was a True Gentleman.

Very sorry to hear about Matt. He was somewhat of a mentor growing up. He coached Denny and Bob Sullivan and myself in a rag tag team of incorrigibles at Ss Peter and Paul's church. Just a wonderful, inspirational guy. Prayers and condolences to Pete, Sis and the family.

Condolences to the Fennell family. I grew up on the Eastside of Elmira in the forties. Many of us younger kids looked up to Matt Fennell. He had what I would call a dignified charisma, on the street, at Cary's Drug store & at St. Peter & Paul's Church. Rest in Peace. Jack Bernas

To the Fennell family: you are all in my prayers...I am also a member of the Hibernians, and had hoisted one with Matt on previous occasions...will do so again soon...once we get back to normal. God bless all.
