Maximo Mendivil Obituary
El Paso - Maximo Mendivil, Jr. 77, went to be with our Lord Monday, April 15, 2019. Preceded in death by his parents, Maximo Sr. and Margarita Mendivil, and sisters Betty and Estella. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Roberta Mendivil; children Marie Serrano (Joe), Maxine Stires (Mike), Maximo Mendivil III (Lydia), Michael Mendivil (Rosemarie), Marlene Mendivil (Julio); brother Manuel Flores; sister Aurora St. Leon; grandchildren Jason Mendivil (Hope), Tanya Vega (Carlos), Jackie Mendivil, Erika Lopez (Fernie), Camille Neff (Michael), Noelle Hernandez (DJ), Maegan Stires, Joshua Cordero, Jessica Day (Tim), Martin Mendivil, Marc Mendivil, Melanie Stires, Jazmine Mendivil, Miles Mendivil, Marielle Serrano, Mary Marquez, and Jacob Mendivil; great grandchildren Evan, Mia, Alex, Jayden, Derek, Joshua, Kylie, Jon Jay, Mikayla, Khloe, Madison, Nicolle, AnneMarie, Jett, Judah, Jessalynn, Faithlynn, Thomas, Ezra, Macy, Carter, Caleb. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 5pm-9pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Dr., with a prayer service at 7pm. Graveside service will be Friday, April 19, 2019 at 10am at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 Montana Avenue. Pallbearers: Jason Mendivil, Marc Mendivil, Martin Mendivil, Miles Mendivil, Joshua Cordero, Jakob Mendivil, Carlos Vega, and Fernie Lopez. Our family would like to thank all of his caretakers especially Dr. Moazam, and his physical therapist Jonathan Franco. Coach Max was a great role model. Gone but not forgotten!

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 18 de abril de 2019 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Hillcrest Funeral Home, en el 1060 N. Carolina Dr., con un servicio de oración a las 7:00 p.m. El servicio de sepultura será el viernes 19 de abril de 2019 a las 10:00 a.m. en el cementerio Evergreen East, en el 12400 Montana Avenue. Los portadores de féretro serán Jason Mendivil, Marc Mendivil, Martin Mendivil, Miles Mendivil, Joshua Cordero, Jakob Mendivil, Carlos Vega y Fernie Lopez. Nuestra familia desea agradecer a todos sus cuidadores, especialmente al Dr. Moazam, y al fisioterapeuta Jonathan Franco. El entrenador Max fue un gran modelo a seguir. ¡Ha partido mas no será olvidado!

Dear Mendivil Family,
I am forever grateful for Coach Max and all the Mendivil Family. Coach Max become a second dad during a very difficult time when we were kids growing up in Ramona. I would have never known Ruidoso, NM and all the lakes existed until we packed into the family station wagon and him taking us.
Thank you Coach Max and family for your friendship and all the childhood memories. Now it is my turn to be with you during this difficult time.
