Please join The Lopez family in remembering our true Hero and beloved husband, father, Grandfather and friend to many in the community as he is sorely missed today and always. My beloved Dad, best friend and Hero another year gone by that the Lord
called your name and quietly took you Away from us all, why is still not understood Dad we still had so much life to enjoy together as the family you Always wanted Dad. A year ago this time I was further deployed and felt your every presence Dad while in the
Shadow of death you surrounding me and protected me with Angels as I again made it home safely from another Deployment Dad. You left us with a Legacy to follow God, Honor, Country, I brought Ole Glory home Dad after six deployments, just as you did from Vietnam, Your grandson is now on the eve of another deployment and we will now do a changing of the guard and follow The Lopez Tradition and walk up MT Cristo Rey and ask the Lord to once again bless our Son and Ole Glory and bring our Son home safe. Your grandson will now carry the Torch into Combat and Ole Glory will once again fly proudly into Afghanistan awaiting for your Angels and protection to surround him as they have for us so many times over I'm so thankful and grateful for life and all that you gave for us Dad for so many years you will always be my HERO, without you Many things could not have been possible, your memory lives in our hearts forever and your smile and presence will stand And your love for family is everlasting. Home is not the same Dad, but we try to continue through life's flaws but you were such a big part of all of our lives that your always missed at every occasion and setting and we love you Dad, and at the end of this all I'm glad to say I called you Dad my HERO.
