Ms Adkins was know to us in our neighborhood as Ms Jean. I had the great fortune of growing up with her as my nieghbor and great friend. She enjoyed life and enjoyed her pets. Some of which I adopted and still have. It saddens me to know I will not see her in the neighborhood anymore but I know she is at peace and in our lords kingdom. My condolences to the family and know that my daughter and I will miss Jean and she remains in our prayers always.

Ms. Norma Jean Adkins was a kind, beautiful, intelligent and giving woman who will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. She was a ray of sunshine on the darkest of days and always smiled even amongst all the chaos of a hectic day. She was there for you no matter what you needed and never turned any person or animal away. My condolences go to all of her friends and family and even though she was taken from us so soon her memories, smiles, laughter, good nature, good deeds, and hugs will be remember forever.
