Mrs. Otilia "Tillie" Grijalva

Mrs. Otilia (Tillie) Grijalva went home to the Lord on Friday, December 28, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX , a member of Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church and the Alter Society. Tillie was a very active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Segura McDonald, Post 5615 from 1967-2004, an honorary member of the Iron Horses whom she helped with the children's Christmas parties and Reach for the Stars program. Along with being a flag bearer for the District of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, she was currently a member of the Tiguas Auxiliary, Post 8782. Tillie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Miguel G. (Mike) Grijalva; son, Miguel (Mike) Grijalva, Jr.; parents, Miguel T. and Maura M. Grijalva; sister, Helen Hinojosa and brother, Mike Grijalva. She is survived by her children, James (Jimmy) Grijalva and Irma Quezada; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; siblings, Raul Grijalva and Yolanda Barrientos from Mira Loma, CA and Vera Orbin from Tijuana, CA. A vigil will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. with funeral mass following at 1:00 p.m. at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
