My condolences to the Zamora family... Rick was my attorney for years. He helped me and my family numerous times. I am so sad to hear of the news. Rick, you were one of the nicest and most kind hearted person that I had ever met. I will never forget you and how you helped me and my family over the years. I'm in shock to barely learn of the sad news. Rest in peace my friend. I will never forget you. <3 <3 <3

So sad. My condolences to the Zamora family. Rick, it's been decades, regretful that we lost touch. Those years at U.T. together were some of the best in my life. You certainly made it easier for a college transplant from Chicago who knew no one in Texas. Those years were crazy fun. . .we thought we were "bad". . .but it was all typical, college-age boys stuff. From Kinsolving, to Jester, to the DU house (what a dump...we lasted what, two weeks?), to ???? (can't remember the name - remember the incident with Yaeger's car HA!), to Century Square - What, we lived in 5 places in about 12 months. . .had fun the whole way. U.T. Ski Club trips, LCRA, City Park, Town Lake, camping, cruising the hills. . .will never forget any of it. You were a great roommate, friend, workout partner, study partner - competitive, but always respectful and humble, bright, driven, generous, understanding, and loyal. I always planned to reconnect at some point; regrets that I had not. The great memories will always be there and your admirable qualities will live on and inspire me. Rest in peace. . .see you in Heaven, my friend.

Dear Richard
Although I didn't know you personally, you being a friend of my brother Mike Cervantes is enough for me to know that you were a great human being. Kind, compassionate, loving and funny I can tell by your beautiful smile in your picture. I'm sure you are going to be missed by all the people that you touched throughout your life. Enjoy heaven as you enjoyed earth while all the people that loves you say See You In Heaven.
In Loving Memory
