Remembering a great guy whom I have not seen since high school, but whom left such an impression on us all. My prayers and love to his family and friends. He was a joy to know. Thank you for allowing us all to share with you.

I first met Bobby in the 6th grade at Basset Jr. High. He was very likeable, always happy, well regarded and had lots of friends. Back then I would always buy a kid's season pass - bleachers - to the 40 or so home games for the El Paso Sun Kings when they played at the ball park at Ascarate Park. Bobby worked as a concessionaire selling in the stands and I remember how impressed I was and how much I respected him for having a summer job like me- I did yard work in the summers and it never seemed that many of my other friends had summer jobs.
I'm proud for Bobby and his family to learn of his distinguished service to our Country. I'm very sorry that we somehow didn't connect with him for the 40th reunion last year, because I know we all would have really enjoyed seeing him again. I never saw Bobby after the summer of 67, so its hard for me to imagine him as a 59 year old man and now gone. However, the fact that he leaves behind five children, a grandchild and lots friends and many others that thought well of him, paints a picture in my mind a happy 18 year old classmate and friend of mine who grew up, served his country, married and lived a full life. May the Divine assistance remain always with us and may the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen - David Holliday AHS Class of 67

Rob,
I'm glad to have known you and become your friend over the past year. You taught me a lot about life and always said, "You can learn a lot from an old guy like me!" and I assure you, I did! Your stories were one of a kind and your smile and laugh was genuine. I really feel like I had a true friend in you. I'm gonna miss you big guy, but I plan to see you again one day!
In your loving memory,
Jon Amato

Memories are bittersweet. Bob was my very first date in the 7th grade, showing up at my door on Valentines with a candy heart. I've thought of him often through the years. May his spirit be at peace now.

I can so clearly picture Bobby from our high school days - always smiling, always wearing his letter jacket, and usually with David Bernard. He was a great guy and very well liked by everone.
My sympathies to his family and close friends during this very difficult time.

Bob and family,
I was saddened to hear of your passing. It sounds like you lead a full life with the blessings of your children and granddaughter. I remember you well, although I was probably not a blip on your radar screen. May God Bless and Keep you and your family.

Bob,
So many years since high school, but I can still picture you in my mind. You were a good guy then, and I'm sorry that I last saw you 21 years ago.
My prayers are with you and your family.

Rob and I shared a special relationship. We shared a bond our divorce did not change. Besides the love and caring for our children Rob and I shared a relationship of trust and friendship. We spoke often and shared our daily lives, our hopes and our dreams. I will miss him dearly. Zsa Zsa (his pet name for me)
