LIFE is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be,A resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys,Different paths along the way,We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place Far greater than we know. For some the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward,and find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord.-Author Unknown For all the faithful who have died we pray, but in particular for those dear to us(Family Loeza). We ask this in Christ's name. Amen. we love you all.

Dear Loeza Family:
I am sorry to respond now but I just received the terrible news. My name is Michael Felix and I'm the commander of VFW Post 10218 and a Vietnam Vetarn. I worked with Roberto when he was a Recruiter and I was a Counselor at El Monte Adult school. Although we were years and Wars apart we had a shared experience.... Combat.
You should know that Roberto was popular, respected, andloved by all the Men in our Post: WWII Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia Desert Storm and the two recent ones. We're truly a Band of Brothers. My men were all very upset when we found out. We took a moment of silence In his memory and Honor. You should know hetouched all our hearts
He especially touched my heart when I retired! Roberto got up and presented me with an Airborne Ranger Plaque and spoke some of the kindest,special words about me that still brings tears to my eyes when I watch the video.
I want his family to know that not only will he be missed in El Paso, Texas but El Monte, California as well.
Thank you for your sacrifice and Rest in Peace My Brother.

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your son, husband and father's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses and what they would like to receive. We will send them as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved one who died serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address, as our organization can no longer get family contacts through the military. I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Roberto will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn't make it home.
I know you're in God's presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you .
I Salute You.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
