Ronald Spott Obituary
El Paso - Ronald Frank Spott went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 28, 2021.
Ron was born on March 17, 1937 to Joseph and Della Spott in Hopkins, MN. He was a resident of El Paso, TX since 1961 and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church for his entire life in El Paso.
He was an educator and coach for his entire career. Beginning at various elementary and middle schools and for the last 25 years of his career he taught and coached at Coronado High School.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gary and Henry.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Spott, 2 sons Tim Spott (Sandy) and David Spott (Valerie), 4 grandchildren Natalie Young (Ryan), T.J. Spott (Jessica), Christopher Spott (Tiffany), Kaitlyn Spott and 6 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Ascension Lutheran Church. An interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church, 6520 Loma de Cristo, El Paso, TX 79912. Those dear to him who may not be able to attend the service, in person, can still participate by joining virtually on Face book Live (no account needed) at: https://www.facebook.com/sunsetfuneralhome. Many memories of our coaching careers. We coached against each other at various elementary and middle schools. Ron was well respected by all coaches,teachers and students. He was always willing to help and advise in anyway he could. He will be missed.
