Willard Crevasse Obituary
El Paso - Gordon Crevasse, 88, passed away July 3, 2019.
He was an El Paso resident for 43 years; born in Jacksonville, FL, he is preceded in death by wife of 55 years Shirley Nadine Lawrence Crevasse, parents Robert and Mary Jane Crevasse, siblings Bob Crevasse and Mary Chase.
Gordon is survived by his daughters Linda and Marcia Wilson, El Paso, TX, Jane Crevasse (Warren) Ruf, Stratford, CT; sons Randy (Toni) Wilson, Hilliard, FL, W. G. (Bill) Crevasse Jr., Middleburg, FL; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Gordon was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Past Master of Fraternity Lodge 1111 of El Paso, TX, and retired from IBM with 25 years of service.
Donations may be made to Cat Rescue Corporation, 6201 Monarch Dr, El Paso TX 79912. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Cremation handled by Perches West.

Le precedió en la muerte su esposa por 55 años, Shirley Nadine Lawrence Crevasse, sus padres Robert y Mary Jane Crevasse, sus hermanos Bob Crevasse y Mary Chase. A Gordon le sobreviven sus hijas Linda y Marcia Wilson, de El Paso, Texas y Jane Crevasse (Warren) Ruf, de Stratford, CT. También le sobreviven sus hijos Randy (Toni) Wilson, de Hilliard, FL, W. G. (Bill) Crevasse Jr., de Middleburg, FL; sus cinco nietos y seis bisnietos. Gordon fue un veterano del Ejército de Estados Unidos, un antiguo maestro de Fraternity Lodge 1111 de El Paso, TX, y se jubiló de IBM tras 25 años de servicio. I met "Gordy" in 1966, shortly after he was hired by IBM. We both worked for the Field Engineering Division, servicing a wide variety of equipment. We discovered quickly that we both played guitar, and soon became guitar buddies. Gordy was a trained musician on Piano, Guitar, and Bass. I learned a lot from him. Over the years we played at many IBM events. In the 70s, we played monthly at a large Nursing Center on the west side of El Paso. After our retirement in the early 90s, Gordy joined a small band that I had organized decades earlier. We were The Rainbow Band and played for coffee and cake at church and backyard parties, and Good Sam functions, and most often, just for our own enjoyment. He and Shirley attended all the special Birthday celebrations of band members.
They lived on the west side of the mountain and the rest of us lived on the east side. But he drove across town, faithfully attending all of our sessions
until about 2008 when the traffic became too much hassle. But even then we stayed in touch, by e-mail, and phone plus occasional lunches and IBM colleague get-togethers.
Gordy and Shirley were good company and good friends for a half century. We have many fond memories of them. Chris & Max Crow
