Earl Wallace Obituary
Graveside services will be held at Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Bemidji, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.
Chick was born June 18, 1933 in Hallock, MN, the son of Mary (Little) Wallace. He graduated Bemidji High School in 1951. He served with the US Navy from 1951-1954. After his honorable discharge, he graduated from Bemidji State University in 1959. He taught high school English in Kimball, MN from 1959-1960, Mojave, CA from 1961-1967, and Ely, MN from 1967-1996. He married Roberta Rose Savard in September of 1955. He was a member of St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji. He was a regular golfer at Greenwood Golf Course in Bemidji and was on the board for a hole in one.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane Morey of Bemidji, son, Joe Wallace of Bemidji, and daughter-in-law, Jody Wallace, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Wallace and son, Scott Wallace.
