Carroll Miner Obituary
Carroll D. Miner, 91, Villa Ridge, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
Carroll, son of the late James Miner and wife Grace, nee Smith, was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Greeley. He received his education from Bunker High School. On Nov. 6, 1971, he was united in marriage to Ruth Brandt at St. Bridget's Church in Pacific.
Carroll loved being on the water with his boat. He enjoyed drinking Wild Cherry Pepsi and had a love for all animals. Carroll loved people and never met a stranger. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his granddaughter.
Among his survivors are his wife, Ruth Miner, Villa Ridge; daugher, Amy Fiala and husband Steven, Villa Ridge; granddaughter, Katarina Fiala; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruby Davis; two brothers, Vernon and Bud Miner; and in-laws, Charles Davis and Bonnie Miner.
A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 26, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Pacific.
Memorial donations can be made to a charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements were in care of Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.
