Clifford Trusty Obituary
Cliff was born Nov. 10, 1965, in Washington to Clifford Trusty and wife Mary, nee Lewis. He grew up in Union and attended Union High School. After completing his education, Cliff traveled for work and then took a position working in landscaping. He worked at Magnet for several years, then as a security officer at East Central College in Union, until his health declined and he was no longer able to work. Cliff was united in marriage to Lisa Baker on Aug. 2, 2013, and the couple made their home in Union.
Cliff loved fishing, working in his yard and tending to his flower gardens. He also enjoyed playing the harmonica, collecting Hot Wheels cars, and vacationing with his family. Cliff loved spending time with his family and always looked forward to a family gathering or celebration.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Lisa Trusty, nee Baker, Union; one daughter, Dethena Trusty, Union; one son, Jonathan Keller, Union; one sister, Mary Trusty, Union; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mary Trusty; parents-in-law, Billy and Bonnie, nee George, Baker; and one sister-in-law, Barb McCormick.
A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union, with Pastor Gary Daud officiating.
Interment followed at Union City Cemetery, Union.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
The Trusty family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
