Doris A. Krieftmeyer

Doris Ann Krieftmeyer (nee Moellering), 84, Marthasville, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

She was born July 13, 1940, in Dutzow, to the late Edwin and Rosaline (nee Borgerding) Moellering.

Doris was united in marriage to Harry Harvey Krieftmeyer June 25, 1960, in Dutzow. They celebrated 46 years together before his passing in 2006. This union was blessed with five children; Mike, Allen, Doug, Donna, and Nancy.

Doris absolutely loved baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. She also loved to watch her children and grandchildren play baseball. She enjoyed quilting and spent a lot of time quilting with her church friends at St. Vincent's in Dutzow, where she attended church. She was a woman of faith and loved her church family. Doris was a wonderful mother and homemaker; she enjoyed baking and caring for her family. She also loved being outdoors working in her flower garden and bird watching from her porch. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many and she will be missed.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents, Edwin and Rosaline; one daughter, Donna; one brother, Bernie.

She is survived by four children: Mike and wife Linda, Allen, Doug and wife Korine, Nancy and husband Terry; son-in-law, Gerard; nine grandchildren, Nichole and husband John, Adam and wife Erin, Chelsea, Josh, Savanna, Madeline, Alek, Noah and Owin; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty; other relatives and close family friends.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 4:30-7 p.m., Monday, May 19, at Martin Funeral Home, Marthasville, with the Rosary being said at 5 p.m. A celebration of life Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, at St. Vincent De Paul Parish, Dutzow.
