Eleanor Heggemann Obituary
Eleanor, a homemaker, was born Dec. 1, 1934, in Overland, the daughter of Anthony Glastetter and wife Frances, nee Elfrank. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Eleanor and her husband Andrew started Heggemann Plumbing in Warrenton. She was an avid Cardinals baseball fan. Eleanor loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Eleanor is survived by her loving children, Nancy (David) Butner, Fulton, Linda (Dan) Jordan, Wright City, Paul (Lisa) Heggemann, Jonesburg, Ronald (Melinda) Heggemann, Warrenton, and Donald Heggemann, Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Fr. Donald Glastetter, William Glastetter, St. Charles, and Ronald Glastetter, Warrenton; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Wilma Glastetter and Jane Glastetter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Glastetter; mother, Frances Glastetter; husband, Andrew Heggemann; daughter, Carol Lynn Heggemann; three brothers, Robert (Margie) Glastetter, Edward Glastetter, and Melvin Glastetter; and two sisters, Joan (first husband, John Hurt, and second husband, Wesley Sprick) Hurt Sprick and Elsie (Harold) Pottebaum.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 18, from 2:30 to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton.
Interment was at the church cemetery.
Memorials to Masses or Holy Rosary School, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
