Elija Montgomery-Smith Obituary
Elija, son of Kevin Montgomery-Smith, and Kelly Montgomery, was born Sept. 17, 1993, in St. Louis. He received his education from Washington High School and Agape High School in Stockton. Elija was employed by the Pisa Group.
Among his survivors are his mother and stepfather, Kelly Eckelkamp and husband Ray, Washington; two brothers, Tate and Jackson Montgomery-Smith; two sisters, Cortney and Hannah Eckelkamp; grandparents, Ron and Mary Montgomery, and Walter and Maxine Smith; step-grandparents, Dan and Carol Eckelkamp; great-grandmother, Geneva Montgomery; aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Montgomery-Smith.
Graveside services were held Friday, March 10, at St. John's Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Paul Scheperle and Dylan Glastetter officiating.
Memorials may be given to the Life Stream Church, to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements were in care of Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
