Dear Steve and Roseann,

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother Leola. On my visit to St Louis in 1989 I well remember her gentle spirit and joy of life, and her pride in her son and daughter. Also her pleasure in playing me some old tunes on her autoharp.

To reach the grand age of 100 is a tribute not just to her but also the love and care of her family.

Leola is still in love and care, living on in our hearts.

With love,

John
