Richard Hubenthal Obituary

Richard "Dick" Hubenthal, 79, of Leslie, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Sunset Health Care Center in Union, Missouri.

Dick was born in Kirkwood, Missouri, on April 2, 1945, the son of the late Henry and Pauline (Pasley) Hubenthal. He was the husband of Rosemary (Luecke) Hubenthal. They were united in marriage on Nov. 7, 1964, at Assumption Church in New Haven, Missouri.

Dick was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Hudson, Missouri, and the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree. He worked as an engineer for SKF Foundry in Washington, Missouri. He later started his own business in construction, RH Painting and Construction, until his retirement.

Dick is survived by his wife, Rosemary Hubenthal, of Leslie; a son, Mike Hubenthal and wife Tracy, of Leslie; two daughters, Debbie Kampschroeder and husband Jim, of New Haven, and Pam Roby, of Eureka, Missouri; his siblings, Wanda Stumpe, Phil Hubenthal, Jane Mueller, Henry Hubenthal, Polly Blankenship, and Ginny Blankenship; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and a granddaughter.

Visitation was held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, with a funeral Mass following at noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Hudson, with Father Jim Foster officiating.

Burial was at Holy Family Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Holy Family Church.

The Hubenthal family was served by Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
