Roberta L. "Bobbie" Beuke

1928 - 2022

Roberta L. "Bobbie" Beuke, nee Aholt, 94, Washington, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at her home.

Bobbie, daughter of the late Robert Aholt and wife Frances, nee Struckhoff, was born Aug. 24, 1928, in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School, graduating in 1946. On Oct. 3, 1953, she was united in marriage to Stanley Beuke at St. Francis Borgia Church. They were blessed with six children.

Before she had children, she worked at Wondermaid Garment Factory. After raising her children, she worked at the St. Francis Borgia Grade School cafeteria. She enjoyed knitting and sewing, going to garage sales/flea markets, refinishing furniture, getting the local news over tea at Not Just Cut and Dried, exercising at the YMCA and visiting with family and friends.

Among her survivors are her children, Kay Kriete, John Beuke and wife Vicki, Tom Beuke and fiancee Bobbi Dimmett, Charles Beuke, Robert Beuke and wife Linda, and Paul Beuke and wife Gayle; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; in-laws, Mary Jo McDonald, Antoniette Osseck, Sister Valaria SSND and Rich Monzyk; other relatives and friends.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley Beuke; two sisters, Mildred Monzyk and Rosemary Cassidy; in-laws, Martin and Elizabeth Beuke, Jerome and Frieda Beuke, Clarence and Genevieve Klott, Jacqueline and Julius Klott, James and Agnes Beuke, Charles McDonald, F. Jim and Josephine Frankenberg, Lawrence and Evelyn Tobben, John Osseck and Glen Cassidy; and son-in-law, John Kriete.

Bobbie donated her body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis Borgia Church, Saturday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bobbie can be given to St. Francis Borgia Grade School, St. Francis Borgia High School, Promedica Hospice or a charity of donor's choice.
