Roby Watson Obituary
He lived his life with devotion and commitment to his wife, Alma Watson, who preceded him in death. Roby's presence is missed by their children, Mark, Tom, Mary Beth, Jean, Dan and Kevin, and their families, who will continue to build on the foundations he provided.
Roby wanted everyone to know "I had a great life." He was born in Noel,739 Mo., Nov. 28, 1925. Roby went to high school in Wellston and became a member of the 8th Army Air Corps in 1944, where he attained the rank of corporal. After his military service, Roby resumed his life in St. Louis, going to college on the GI Bill and marrying "the love of my life" in 1950.
Roby was a custom home builder and owner of Dolphin Construction, building many of the first homes around Lake Saint Louis.
A gathering to celebrate his life will be Saturday, Dec. 8, between 2 and 5 p.m. at Child Evangelism Fellowship, 17482 State Highway M, Warrenton.

The family expresses their gratitude to the network of friends and neighbors who, through their care and attention, enabled Roby to live out his life within the comfort of his home. He appreciated each of you for taking the time to be a part of his life.

My heart goes out the entire Watson Family. Roby (The Robo) was my mentor while having the privilege of working with/for him back in the 70's. He taught me a lot about being a hard worker, starting a business, being a good father and encouraged the pursuit of two of the best things in life -music and fishing. I picture him smoking a pipe and giving advise. A very kind wise man. Rockbridge, trout fishing trip with Tomoose and the Robo - one of my best Missouri memories. Love Curt
