Ryan Steinmann Obituary

Ryan Zachary Steinmann, 27, Washington, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

Ryan, son of Kimberly, nee Edwards, and Kevin Steinmann, was born Sept. 24, 1994, in Oakland, California. He received his education from Union High School.

Ryan loved playing hockey from the time he was five years old. He also enjoyed football and wrestling, two sports he played in high school. Ryan also loved the outdoors, going hiking and deer hunting. Ryan, above all, loved his family and friends. He was very generous and kind.

Among his survivors are his mother, Kimberly Steinmann, Washington; father, Kevin Steinmann, Maryland Heights; sister, Sarah M. Steinmann and fiance Justin Carey, Washington; grandparents, Sharon R. Smith, St. Louis, David L. Edwards, Springfield, and Barbara Wagener, Warrenton; uncles and aunts, Justin Edwards and wife Terry, St. Louis, Joseph D. Edwards and wife Andrea, James M. Edwards and wife Tye, Hurst, Texas; great-aunt, Irma Perry; cousins, Gavin Edwards, Alonna Johnson, Owen Thacker, Tage Thacker, Leilani Pugh and husband Greg, Troy Pugh, Paul Pugh and Matt Zimmerli; plus, so many more great-aunts, -uncles and cousins, too many to name, on the Edwards family side.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry Steinmann, Melvin John Smith and Florence Belle Jeffries.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
