Sharon Dubuque Obituary

Sharon Lee Dubuque, 78, St. Clair, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Sharon was born on November 8, 1946, in Washington, and made her home in St. Clair, where she raised her two sons and shared her love of faith, family, and fellowship.

Sharon was a devoted mother to Jason Vitt and his wife Karma, and to Tim Vitt and his wife Kelly. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Taylor and Jordan Vitt, and to Whitney Butler (husband Roman) and their daughter August, as well as T.J. Vitt (wife Macie) and their daughter Vivienne.

She is also survived by her siblings, Ronald Reed, Gary (wife Kathy) Reed, Angela Ott, Gayle (husband Gary) LaRue, Dayle McKenzie, Ladonna Graves, and Greg (wife Katie) McKenzie. Her life touched countless others, including many loving nieces; nephews; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Raymond Dubuque; her parents, Otto Reed and Lillian Redage-Hofmann; one sister, Rosann Reed; her brother-in-law Jim Ott; niece Casie Ott; and nephew Douglas Niermeyer.

Sharon was a retired, joy-filled woman whose faith guided her every step. As a devoted member of Real-Life Church in St. Clair, she lived boldly for Christ. She was a prayer warrior, a source of strength and encouragement to those around her, and someone whose love for Jesus radiated in every part of her life.

She found great joy in camping with family and friends and loved hunting with her beloved Ray. Above all, Sharon was a warrior for the Lord never afraid to share His truth and live it out.

Her faith was anchored in the promise of John 11:25-26:

?Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.'?

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at Real Life Church, located at 1560 N. Commercial, St. Clair, Saturday, August 30.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., with the service to follow at 11 a.m. All who knew and loved Sharon are invited to attend.

Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is in the presence of her Savior, where there is no more sorrow only eternal joy.

Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your Lord. ? Matthew 25:21
