Terry Eckelkamp Obituary
Terry, son of the late Earl Eckelkamp and wife Marilyn, nee LeFarth, was born Aug. 17, 1956, in Washington. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School. Terry was an electrician by trade and began his career at Bell Electric. He then went on to work for Eckelkamp Electric until his retirement.
Terry was a funny, caring, and very optimistic person. He always had a joke or story to share and enjoyed making others laugh. One of his most favorite things to do was to go fishing at his lake and have barbecues with his family and friends. He was an avid NASCAR and "Three Stooges" fan.
Among his survivors are his two daughters, Amber Fadler and husband Jakob, New Haven, Cody Eckelkamp and husband Michael Paul, Ballwin; siblings, Karla Westhoff and husband Rick, Marthasville, Tom Eckelkamp, Krakow, LuAnn Cooper, Washington, Elaine Schmitt and husband Glenn, Concord Hill, Eric Eckelkamp and wife Danette, Washington, Evon Bishop and husband Todd, Clover Bottom, and Edward Eckelkamp and wife Michele, Krakow; two grandchildren, Cohen and Aubree Fadler; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Marilyn Eckelkamp, and sister, Linda Eckelkamp.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 11, at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at St. Gertrude's Church, Krakow.
Interment will be at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National MS Society.
The Eckelkamp family is being served by Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
