Thomas Julius Obituary

Thomas L. Julius, 75, Rosebud, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

Thomas was born Sept. 4, 1942, to Eugene and Hilda, nee Sieker, Julius, in Gerald. Thomas was united in marriage to Sharon Heidel June 5, 1965, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud. He served his country with the National Guard. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rosebud. He was retired from General Motors, with 33 years of service.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Sharon Julius, of the home; children, Barbara Meyer and husband Kurt, New Haven, and Chad Julius and special friend Halie Hayes, Rosebud; three brothers, Russell Julius and wife Vera, Rosebud, Jerome Julius and wife Kathy, Beaufort, and Dennis Julius and wife Rita, Bonne Terre; one sister, Patricia Fischer and husband Ronald, Gerald; brother- and sister-in-law, Dale and Lois Heidel, Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, Joshua Meyer and special friend Ashley Mitchell, Union, and Tyler Meyer and special friend Stephanie Sullentrup, Hermann; and one great-grandchild, Garrett Meyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Hilda Julius.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are in care of Gottenstroetter Funeral Home, Owensville.
