Wanda Goll Obituary

Mrs. Wanda Lee Goll (nee Lauer), 87, Marthasville, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the New Haven Care Center.

She was born March 3, 1938, in St. Ann, Missouri, to the late Bernard and Lucille (Gammon) Lauer.

Wanda was united in marriage to Charles Joseph Goll Nov. 10, 1956, in St. Louis. They celebrated 39 wonderful years together before his passing in November of 1995. This union was blessed with six children, Robin, Charles, Michael, Debora, Steve, and Jeffrey. She was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. Wanda was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She enjoyed watching the games and attending when she could. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to travel extensively to several countries. She also loved being at home, tending to her flower garden, croqueting, knitting, and playing cards, especially Michigan Rummy. She was a member and attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish for many years. Wanda was a deeply devoted, caring, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

Wanda Goll was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles; her parents, Bernard and Lucille; three children, Jeffrey Goll, Charles Goll Jr. and Michael Goll; great grandchild, Parker Stockhorst; six siblings, George Lauer, David Lauer, Fred Lauer, Darrel Lauer and wife Theresa, Barbara Landsbury and Florence Boenker and husband Gary; in-laws, Ralph and Rose Goll; sister-in-law, Patricia O'Brien and her husband, Jim.

Wanda is survived by three children, Robin Scherer and husband Joseph, Debora Stockhorst and husband Bill and Steve Goll; six grandchildren, Bryan Scherer (Danyelle), Amanda Bunton (Tim), Christopher Stockhorst (Jessica), Joshua Stockhorst (Kelly), Chavy Goll (Stacy), Rachelle Goll; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Estelle Ball (Charles); daughter-in-law, Rene Goll; nieces and nephews; other relatives and close family friends.

A visitation for Wanda Goll was held from 4-7 p.m., Monday, June 30, at Martin Funeral Home, Marthasville. A Mass was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, at St. Vincent de Paul, Marthasville, with a burial following at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to be made to the St. Vincent School. Online condolences may also be made at martinfuneral.net.

The Goll family was served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
