So sorry to be just getting this message! Hank was such a good friend. He taught this all-thumbs English teacher enough about electricity to wire a lamp, install a switch, to interest electrical students in English and to look at our church through his eyes.
I always enjoyed our conversations and often came away inspired to do better.
Sending much belated prayers to the family.

Henry was Love. It resonated in his every word and deed. His family was the center of this love, and if you were lucky enough to be in his orbit, you could feel it.
His friendships ran deep and strong. His support was unending.
He was Compassion, and quiet, yet unbendable, Strength. I have never known a kinder or more true human in my life.
It has been many years since I have seen him, but his smile and gentle voice are unfaded in my memory.
Dear Cusick family, I know that you know you had the most incredible father and grandfather. He touched so many lives. His vibrant goodness filled whatever room or whoever’s life he entered.
I am so very sorry for your enormous loss.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
A lesson I learned from my farther and one he taught me time and again.

Dad always took the time to talk and he would listen to you and he always had a good story to tell you about what he had seen or done and this was how he taught me about life and how to treat others.

A Tout Le monde ; To everyone, to all my friends, I love you, I have to leave.
good by Dad.

We have only been neighbors for short time, but are deeply saddened to lose such a vibrant man!
Hank loved to come over and chat. He talked a lot about his family, and especially the short time Ann was here with Tim and himself.
We had a lot in common as I came from Melrose, MA and my family from Salem, MA.
He talked about his love of horses!
So for such a short time we knew him, we made a great connection in spite of COVID!
Miss him as I know you all do!
Thanks for our brief friendship Hank!!

I have Mr Cusick every reason to not respect me during my 4 years in the Electrical program at BHR in the 70s but he never gave up on me and we became friends I'm the subsequent years when I was VP of Ops at a large Electrical firm and hired out of the program every year. He was far more influential in my life than I had realized and I'm saddened to hear he has passed. My condolences to his family.

Every single day, I look out into the world and I see you in everything, everywhere. You have become my guiding light at night and the sun every day. Sometimes to even say "I Miss You" feels strange, because I know somehow that you are right here.

RIP “Hank “ “Mr. Cusick “. My High school shop teacher. My DEPT Head. My friend and Brother in the IBEW. Such a big influence on my career choice and to keep me on the straight and narrow.
Some of my best memories of this man are standing beside him before a classroom of future electricians. Teaching them what he taught me. Passing the knowledge and experience along. Rest easy my friend. Kevin O’Brien “Class of 1984 “

I had the pleasure of knowing Hank for 37 years. He was a mentor of mine at Bluehills Regional HS, for my first four years in the teaching profession. Whenever I needed a little assistance, he would always offer a suggestion. He was always at school by 6:15; we would always sit and talk about school and life in general. Before the next school year started, I would go to his house in Scituate and discuss strategy for the new school year. Henry taught me the Bluehills way of giving the students the best education possible. When Hank retired in 1998, I continued my teaching career until 2018. The early years of teaching are the most difficult because of all the responsibilities of being an educator. Honestly, if it hadn’t been for Hanks guidance, I would not be the person I am today. Thank you, I love you like a dad. I will miss you, John Mullaney

32 years later, as much as I refer to him as “Hank”, he will always be “Mr. Cusick”. I couldn’t imagine even as an adult, addressing him any other way. He commanded that respect merely by his presence. I am saddened by his passing, but will carry what he taught me (both as an electrician and as a person) through the rest of my life. He was truly a great teacher, a great electrician, and a great and caring man.

I will forever regret that on my last trip to Florida I did not have the opportunity to look him up and see him.

God bless you Mr. Cusick
