Dear Minnie, Rosemary, Vickie & Anita.
We are sadden to hear this news. We shared a few things with you and Joe. The same house number only over on the next street and sometimes find a letter for you two in our box. Then working for DRMS but he had retired before I started. Growing up not only in the same small town but on the same street in Sharpsburg PA. Joe also brought over veggies that he had grown in the backyard garden. It really is a small world.

Dear Minnie and family:
Like Joe, I came to Battle Creek in 1962 as part of the team to build the agency here. I worked with Joe some in the early days and then I moved into DLSC Cataloging and then my last 19 years in Data Systems, retiring in Oct. 1987. Our pathes went different ways, but I had a lot of respect for Joe and his work. I know he will be missed very much. May God bless you and help you through this journey.

Oh where do I start, I feel like Mr. Joe was my second daddy. Joe and Minnie has been a part of life since the beginning. Mr Joe worked with my daddy at FT Rucker and oh how they loved to fish and talk about the old days. I have a ache in my heart but I know that daddy and mother was there to great MR Joe at the gate with their fishing pole and they are sitting on a boat still talking about who caught the biggest fish and talking about the old days. Love you Mr. Joe. Minnie and Girls we are here if you need to talk or just cry.

What a wonderful neighbor. He was always there for our family. Helping the kids fix problems with cars, things in the house if we were gone. Also helped plow our driveway when Jerry couldn't He will be sorely misses but will be remembered with fond memories. Jerry said when he goes to the other side he wants Joe for a neighbor. So sorry we can't be there. We are in Texas. Give our love to all from our family.
