Charles Crosby Obituary

Charles Crosby, Jr. Charles Crosby, Jr., 74, 637 E. 19th St., passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007, at his residence. He was born December 17, 1932, in Lake Coma, Miss., son of the late Charles Crosby, Sr. and Ada Ulmer Crosby. He was a resident of Erie for 66 years. He was retired from American Sterilizer where he was employed for 26 years in various capacities. He was previously employed by A. O. Smith, Bucyrus-Erie, and Interlake Iron. He was a member of Family First Worship Center. Charles enjoyed shooting pool and fishing. He was a private person who loved his family and will be dearly missed by them all. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons Andre Crosby and wife Freda, and George Anthony Booth and wife Frances, all of Erie; a daughter, Talisha Nagle, Erie; two brothers, Wallace Crosby, Erie, and Samuel Crosby, Grayson, Ga; four sisters, Mildred Darby, Hazel Thomas and Gertrude Crosby, all of Erie, and Christine Snyder and husband Alexander, Alexandria, Va.; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; an aunt, Ruby (L. B.) Cooley; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 13, 5 to 8 p.m., at Law Funeral Home, 1861 Buffalo Road, and may attend a funeral service on Friday, 11 a.m., at Morning Star Baptist Church, 327 E. 23rd St., conducted by Rev.
