Chris Hicks Obituary

Chris Lloyd Hicks, Jr., age 40, of Erie, died Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Presque Isle Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 18, 1973, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Chris Lloyd Hicks of Conneaut, Ohio and Mary "Kathy" Arnold Barnes of Gastonia, N.C.

Chris graduated from Conneaut High School and attended Tri State Institute for welding and fabricating. He was employed at J. J. Agnello Heating and Cooling.

Chris was like the Tasmanian Devil, always on the go, running circles around everyone. He knew how to have fun with his great friends and loved his family. He enjoyed camping as well. He was his dad's best friend, and a locksmith missy. He will be missed by many, especially his dad.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Helen Hicks and Shirley Whitworth Tennies and his brother Jon Hicks.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his wife Tabitha English of Lake City, two children Ashley and Jacob Hummer of Conneaut, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a step-grandfather Rev. DeForest Tennies.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family, in care Burton Funeral Home, 602 W. 10th St., Erie, PA 16502. Send condolences at www.Burtonfuneralhome.com.
