Dale English Obituary
Devoted Husband, Son, Brother and Friend
Dale L. English, age 50, of Erie, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Millcreek Community Hospital. He was born December 9th, 1963, in Sewickley, Pa,, a son of the late Lawrence P. and Elsie Louise Flenchum English.
Dale had attended St. Marks Seminary and worked at ADT. He was the web master and compiled the weekly Sunday bulletins for Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church, in Erie, Pa., and also Saint Mary's Orthodox Church, in Corry, Pa.
He loved his cats, was a computer genius, and a very special and genuine person who was loved by all his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Diane I. Koman English of Erie; his brothers, Larry English (wife Beth) of Martinsburg W.Va., Keith English (wife Lynn) of New Cumberland, W.Va., Bruce English of Mingo Junction, Ohio, and Landon English of Phoenix, Ariz.; his sisters Susan Johnson of Yuma, Ariz. and Kitty Kessler (husband Timothy) of Phoenix, Ariz.
He was preceded in death was his father, Laurence English, mother, Elise English, sister, Brenda Fay Struble, and brother Ricky English.
Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th Street, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with a Parastas Service at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Services will be on Thursday at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 1123 East Avenue, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery, in Crossingville, Pa.
Memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th St., Erie, PA 16511.

Surprised to sign on this eve. and see Dale's obit..I've been living out of town. Dale was my patient many times at Metro Health Center, where I worked as an R.N. A great man with always a smile to share, and never a bit of self pity. I would still see him often at the Dr.'s office...I know he was loved by many, and he will be truly missed. God Bless Dale and his family.

I was very sad to hear of Dale's passing. I went to school at St Mark's with him. I have very fond memories of him from those times. With his faith, I know in my heart he's with friends and family in heaven. God bless you all,you're in my prayers.

Dear Diane,
I am so sorry to see that Dale has passed away.
I am sending my sincere condolences across the miles because I cannot be there to say goodbye to him :(
Not sure if I remember you, if you stopped by or gave Dale rides home...sorry...memory going too :(
I was a "temp" at ADT back in 1998-1999 while I was in Erie for a short time.
He was such a sweet man, gentleman and a great "boss". He ran ADT so perfectly and taught me well.
Please find comfort that he is in a great place with the Lord.
