David Baginski Obituary

David T. Baginski, age 65 of Millcreek, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday February 13, 2021. He was born in Erie on July 13, 1955, a son of the late Theodore J. Baginski and Dorothy (Zelasky) Baginski Lamison.

David was a 1974 graduate of East High School. He was most recently employed as a bus driver for EMTA for over ten years and retired from there in March 2018. David was an awesome father and husband that truly had a heart of gold. He loved people, good conversations and jokes. He touched so many lives…He will be missed by all. He enjoyed bowling, long rides in the country, motorcycle rides around the public dock and peninsula, driving his "48" Chevy and Mustang convertible, camping trips with his family, dinner dates and picnics with his many friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Martha (Malanowski) Baginski; their two daughters, Carrie Ann Baginski and Kristy Lynn Baginski and one soon to be granddaughter, Skylar Baginski Washington. He will be missed dearly by his beloved dog Halo and his kitty cats, Taz, Simba, Remi and Annie.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

If anyone could make you smile. It would be Dave. All he had to do was look your way and give one of his many smirks. I imagine you wouldn't even have to look his way. His personality was the same. You had no defense. but then. Why would ya. Dave is missed greatly. we will think of him often. Then give one of our smirks. Back at ya. Remember. Doze theez bus go to valamart ?

Thinking of Dave’s family at this sad time. Hoping all the happy memories ease your pain. Dave was a fun guy to hang around with back in our high school days. Always had a laugh and a quick wit. I never saw him angry.
