David Glenn Gorman

David Glenn Gorman, age 69, of Erie, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014, at UPMC Hamot, after battling a lengthy illness from complications of diabetes. He was born in Erie, on October 18, 1945, the only son of the late William and Eleanor Gorman.

Dave was self-employed as a Mac Tool distributor, until his retirement. His loves included golf, the Cleveland Indians, traveling to Myrtle Beach, watching the Weather Channel, and his furry companion, Malcolm. He was affiliated with Lakewood Methodist Church.

Dave is survived by his wife of more than 20 years, Sandy Etter; sisters-in-law, Linda Etter and Debbie Etter Malinowski (Dave); and brother-in-law, Eugene Etter. Dave will be sadly missed by his many friends, including his former wife, Katherine Walter (Bill).

Friends and family may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Thursday at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Robert Lewis. Interment will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
