Love and prayers for you, Aunt Joan and Cousin Dria. I will so miss passing our family information back and forth and hunting all of the missing links with Dorn. He was my inspiration, and I wouldn't have the fascination for genealogy, the interest in writing or the love for art that I do, were it not for him.

Dorn was an excellent teacher, innovator
and a friend to all.
Joan, sorry for your loss.

The neat thing about taking classes from Dorn was……..Some of the stuff would sink back into your brain, and would pop out when you needed it. "Oh, yeah! I learned that from Dorn!"
I think Edinboro should name an art building Howlett Hall. Dorn influenced so many people while he taught there.

Joan, my condolences to you and your family. I remember warmly my time with Dorn as a colleague in the art department and both of you as friends who shared some good parties and connections in our early days of teaching.

Dria and Joan, I am saddened and share your grief at the loss of Dorn. He was truly a remarkable man, and well liked. the world is now diminished with the loss of a dashingly debonaire daddy Dorn.
