HESSINGER Emil Hessinger, 87 years of Clinton Corners, New York, and formerly of Erie Monday, June 21, 2004; beloved husband of Emily “Midge” Hessinger and the late Marian Carlson Hessinger; father of Frederick Hessinger, wife, Donna, Carl Hessinger, wife Marianne, Robert Hessinger, wife Cindy, Karen Zalewski, husband, Robert, and the late Richard P. Hessinger; a daughter in law Cheryl Hessinger; brother of the late Arthur, George and Robert Hessinger and the late Mildred Kachele; 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Luther Memorial Church, 225 West 10th St. on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 P.M. with Rev. J. David Mumford officiating. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Erie Humane Society. Services are under the direction of Brugger Home for Funerals, West 38th St. at Greengarden, Erie. I am sorry to learn of the death of your Dad. My parents were good friends of Emil and Marian in their "younger" days. In fact, your Mom held a bridal shower in her home for me 46 yrs ago. I will keep both your parents in my prayers.
