Amanda- It's hard to believe Eric has been gone for a month already.He was taken from you too young and soon. We have to think God had a plan for him and why he left you so early. I know Eric is a peace now watching over you keeping you safe. Just know you are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Amanda, We are so sorry for your loss. When I first met Eric he came in as a patient where I work. I didn't even know the two of you were a couple. He was such a nice, pleasant young man as I talked with him many times. He always had a smile on his face, even thou he was there for help from our office. When I knew who his "girl" was at that time, I couldn't believe it. Just hold on to those memories and the time you did have together. Some people never get those chances. We've know you since you were about 4 or 5 years old, and you spent many hours at our house over the years. We have a lot of memories together as we did with your mom too. Eric had that certain way that made you feel important. He made Jim feel at ease at our teacher get-togethers and birthday parties. They had that "connection" that only they understood. We are here for you at any time day or night. You are in our prayers.

Eric and my son were very good friends during their school days. Eric was in my Boy Scout Troop. I saw
Eric only once in the last 10 years or so, but he remembered me and and said hello. My condolences to all who knew and loved him.

My father called me today to tell me of Eric's passing and it has been on my heart all day. I graduated with Eric and I have shared many laughs with him, as he always had a way to make all of us laugh. I pray you find comfort in this time of loss in knowing Eric's strong beliefs have brought him to his eternal home where he feels no pain and you will be united with him again one day. Today I watched a family hold together in their sorrow and grief. Today I saw a loving wife display so much courage in the face of such unimaginable sadness that my heart just ached for her. Today I learned about the depth of Eric's soul and his beliefs... it inspired and moved me.
Like most of Eric and Amanda's friends I came to know Eric as a fun loving man with a winning smile and good natured sense of humor in spite of his illness. He and Amanda have taught me lessons through their example and I feel blessed to have been able to know them as the loving couple that they were. I will miss him greatly, but his memory will live on through Amanda... of that I am sure.

Uncle Dave, Aunt Charolette, Susie, and Duane, I will miss Eric's smile that would light up a room. I will miss him and Uncle Dave coming down to camp behind Dad's place just to wet their whistle. I did not know his wife at all but know that she has suffered a terrible loss. He will be missed greatly by anyone who had the honor of knowing Cousin Eric.

I can't express in words the sorow I feel on the death of Eric. I loved him like a son. He was my hero and in the short time I knew him, he taught me alot. I will miss him but I will keep him in my prayers. Eric will live forever in my memory. His last words to me were "I love you Pat". Tears do not come easy to me---but I am crying my eyes out. I am especially sad that I was not in Erie when Eric went to God.

It was a great privilege to have known Eric. His kind, loving, and energetic spirit will always be remembered. He was far too young and he will forever be in my memory as a loving, kind, and funny guy. He had an energetic spirit that made him a strong fighter- he fought the fight- now his pain and suffering has ended and he is in a better place, free of life's pain forever.
