Evelyn, Evan, and Everett-
Deepest condolences and heartfelt sadness for the passing of Eva. We met Eva many years ago during his time as School Director. We have many fond memories of the meeting of the minds with him, Brenda, Tim & Judy, & us. Always enjoyed seeing Eva at the political functions. He was a wonderful, kind man with a smile for everyone he met. He will truly be missed by many. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,
Jack & Sandy Leretsis

Your dad was a great guy. Friendly, intelligent, and considerate like no other. He'll be sorely missed.
Give my regards and condolences to your brother and mother from us. I've always loved your mom and how kind she's been to me.
Stay strong. Peace.

I am extremely sorry for the passing of Mr. Tucker. I served on the Erie County Diabetes Association board and got to know him. He was always a nice person and always willing to help everyone grow personally. My deepest condolences go out to his family.

Deepest sympathy to Mr. Tucker's family. The obituary captures his many accomplishments but my memory is of the fine man that I often saw at the Plymouth at lunchtime who always without fail had a smile and a kind greeting for my dad, my husband and I.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Tucker family. I took as many of Eva's courses as possible, at Behrend. He was such a genuinely joyous teacher and that inspired me to go on to to teach Earth/Space Science. When I was hired through Erie School District, he sent me a very positive email, congratulating me on a wonderful career choice. Certainly, Eva has inspired thousands of students in his career and always had the best interest of Erie School students in mind as a school board member. His life and dedication is one worth emulating!

Dear Tucker Family,
I was saddened when I opened the Erie Times and discovered that Eva has passed away. Nearly thirty years ago, soon after moving my family to Erie, I met Eva in the course of the "C-Average" disputes. I found him to be a thoughtful, interested, committed,open-minded, even-handed School Director, whose primary concern was always the well-being of the students of the Erie City School District. I know my Uncle Bill, whose tenure on the School Board overlapped Eva's, had a deep admiration for him. Please accept my condolences.
Sincerely,
Bob Brabender

Mr. Tucker was my geology professor 50 years ago at Behrend. Amazing instructor who took our class outdoors to enrich our learning. What I most remember is his loving nature... always smiling, always caring. A wonderful human being. My deep sympathy to the family. God Bless. Norma Hiller

Evelyn, remember God will "wipe" the tears from the families eyes, and "take" the pain away from their heart. You are not "alone." God will not "LEAVE YOU."

Dear Evelyn & Family; it is with a sad heart, to learn of Eva's passing. Really, don't know what to say, except, as you know, Eva will be missed.
Eva, always had a kind word to say, and a deep sincere "hello", as we walked on Oxford St., or departing from bus. Please know, that we are with you, and with hope & courage, may God's strength surround you. Sincerely, Julia
