Evelyn Snow Obituary


Evelyn Lucy Lewis Snow, age 89, of Erie, died quietly at home, on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was born in Erie, Pa., on October 10, 1926, daughter of the late Archie and Gertrude Lepichem Lewis.

Evelyn loved her children and grandchildren and was known for her gardening and love of birds.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Snow, along with two brothers, Archie and Richard Lewis and a sister, Thora Burns.

She is survived by three daughters, one of Tyler, Texas, one of McKean, Pa. and Mary Snow (the golden child) of Erie, Pa. She also leaves ten grandchildren, Sherri Juliano, Rhonda Enders, Lisa Robbins, Joey Enders, James Snow, David Buell, Amanda Kelly, Stephanie Bartosek, J.R. Bartosek, and Autumn Bartosek. Several great-grandchildren, a sister, Alice Wagner, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services were private, at the convenience of the family, and under the care of Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA 16510. Please send condolences at www.Burtonfuneralhome.com.
