Howard Brumagin Obituary

Howard Brumagin Howard Brumagin, 88, of 8915 State Highway 173, Guys Mills, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Wesbury Methodist Community. Born September 19, 1918 in Wattsburg, he was the son of Lee and Evelyn Howard Brumagin. He married Rose Antionette Tanner on October 18, 1939 and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2006. He was a lifelong salesman working for numerous companies some of which include McCormick’s, Vimco, Muellers, Faber and Point Distributing. He was a member of the Bradleytown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was able to travel west and into Canada on hunting trips. He was also devoted to both his family and church family. Survivors include three sons, David Brumagin and his wife Dolly of Guys Mills, William Brumagin of Guys Mills and Lynn Brumagin and his wife Gail of Cooperstown. Five grandchildren Richard Brumagin and his wife Cindy, Karen Brumagin Kovac and her husband Jeff, Jody Huston and her husband Jim, Scott Brumagin and his wife Sharon, and Mark Brumagin and his wife Erin, and nine great grandchildren. A sister Olive Meabon and her husband Ronald of Wattsburg and his twin brother Kenneth Brumagin of Wattsburg. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Brumagin. Friends may call at the Dickson Family Funeral Home, Inc., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Martin of the Bradleytown United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cochranton Cemetery. Condolences can be emailed to [email protected].
